Climate

Toronto is considered to have a semi-continental climate with a warm and humid summer and a cold winter. The climate of Toronto is altered due to its location.

Since Toronto is located at the tip of Lake Ontario, the lake water makes Toronto warmer during winter and cooler in summer than what is supposed to be.

Lake Ontario is also the reason behind why people felt uncomfortably humid during summer.

Between December to March, winter is still severe and Toronto’s grounds are covered with snow by about 1 cm deep and is seen on an average of 65 days a year.
