Get the feel of the golden medieval era and be surrounded by scenic views and splendid architecture all in one city. Piran’s drawing appeal is nothing but speaks of magnificence brought about by the picturesque old age sights mixed with the modern times.

Fairy tales may just happen in books, but this destination can be considered as the closest because of the grandeur Piran has to offer.

Location

Piran is located at the end of the Piran Peninsula on Piran’s Gulf. The eastern part is facing Italy just across the Adriatic Sean ad Gulf of Trieste.

It also borders Croatia to the south and Izola and Koper to the east. The beauty of the place gave birth to some of the world’s best artists like the famous Giuseppe Tartini and Cesare Dell’Acqua.
The small area covers 0.3 square kilometers.
