Other cities also offer direct flights to Thandwe like Yangon, Bagan Nyaung, Mandalay, Heho and Sittwe. Consider Yangon and Sittwe as your best bets because they do not cancel flights as often compared to the other aforementioned cities.

This is a religious site that was established back in 761 AD. It is believed that this houses the ribs of Buddha. It is impossible to overlook this spot due to the height of its pagoda.

It was built under the reign of King Minbra in honor of Buddhism’s most recognized figure – Buddha.
