Japan may have some of the busiest streets in the world especially those that are found in Tokyo, but there is more to its crowded streets. As a matter of fact, the country has places that offer stillness while not giving up on the modernity that made them one of the lead players in the economic world.

Kanagawa will let you see Japan in a different sight as it is blessed with a different form of nature that will surely entice you. Kanagawa prefecture is located to the south of Japan’s capital, Tokyo. Found in the Kanto region, Kanagawa covers an area of more than 930 square miles. It is popular especially for those who want to take a detour from visiting the country’s capital.

There are some hilly regions here and rivers that improve the beauty of the place. It consists of 19 cities in total considering Yokohama as its capital.

Thanks to the mountain ranges found on its west part and the Pacific Ocean located to its east, Kanagawa enjoys a mild climate. The average temperature usually plays around at 16 degrees Celsius.

The place experiences a great amount of rainfall in a year, so do not be surprised if you are welcomed by a drizzle in one of your visits. This is normal due to black currents brought by the said body of water.

This mountainous town is known for its hot springs. Relax while bathing in the relaxing warm waters and enjoy the scenic view of Mount Fuji.

Do not miss having a boat ride and tour around Lake Ashi, as well as seeing the boiling Sulphur springs in the Owakudani valley while riding the Hakone cable car.

This is the destination to learn more about the city’s culture. Rich in Buddhist temples and beach destinations, many flock to Kamakura to experience the fusion of religion and fun through its numerous shrines along with its beaches.

Kamakura is rich in history as it holds an identity of producing good samurai warriors in early times. This influence is still very much recognized even up today.
