Nova Scotia is a province located in Canada. This province is a very peaceful and perfect place for relaxation. This is the place where you can feel the pace fall and cool, clean salt air breeze of the sea during the warm afternoon.

The tourist can experience the rich culture of the province from the traditional tourist attractions and to the modern world-class golf courses.

Everyone can enjoy and embrace the spirit of the perfect road trip in Nova Scotia, even though you do not have a car you can still use a bike, hike, sail, or just walk with the whole family and explore the beauty of the province.

Nova Scotia lies in the eastern part of the Atlantic Provinces of Canada that is totally surrounded by ocean, it consists of a very large peninsula that is also known as the mainland. It is connected to the province of New Brunswick and Cape Breton Island.

It is one of the main and original four provinces that became part of Canada in the year 1867, and as of the year 2011 it was recorded that the province has a population of over 920,000 people who mostly lives in its capital city, Halifax.

Nova Scotia’s climate is moderate and pleasant. It rarely gets extremely cold or hot. Spring in this Canadian province is during the months of March to June, while summer, which is the perfect time to visit Nova Scotia is during the months of mid-June to September, While from mid-September to December it is the fall season, and January to March is the winter season the drop with the temperature of 0 to -15 degrees Celsius.

The main airport in Nova Scotia is Stanfield International Airport it is located in the capital city which is the Halifax. It has lots of domestic flights in the various and different parts of Canada and international flights in the United States of America and Europe. It has daily flights to Sydney in Cape Breton from Halifax and Toronto.

Visitors and tourists can also arrive by sea via ferry. There is a main port located in Halifax that caters the Nova Star Ferries, Bay Ferries, Northumberland Ferries, and Marine Atlantic.

This museum is named in honor of Rear Admiral Robert Digby which is one of the oldest structures in the Town. In the mid-19th century, it was originally constructed as a family home.

Today, it is considered as one of the well-known tourist attraction in Nova Scotia that showcases the collection of photographs and artifacts that relates to the history of the town.

It has extravagantly and uniquely decorated rooms for the visitors that allow them to see the typical and traditional home that would have looked 150 years ago.

Bay Fundy

The Bay of Fundy is the home of the highest tides and dynamic tidal coastline, not just in Canada but also in the whole world. It is 270 km Long Ocean by the ocean bay that stretches between the provinces of New Brunswick and in the east coast part of Nova Scotia.

Tourist can experience the extreme Bay of Fundy in its National Parks, It is also UNESCO sites, a national historical sites that has an outstanding provincial parks, and provincial museums that is very educational and good to learn and it’s dynamic and rich culture.

This is the city on the sea, and it owes its existence to the Citadel. In the year 1749 it has a large overlooking hill that can easily defended by the harbor located below that will lead you to the British military’s site.

Among the first buildings constructed was a wooden guardhouse on top of what would eventually be called Citadel Hill, with Halifax’s first settlers building their homes at the base of the hill, closer to the water.

Over the years, as the fort grew, so too did the town, with much of Halifax dedicated to supplying the soldiers with both essential supplies and off-duty entertainment.
