Montserrat is a British territory in the Caribbean. Known as ‘The Emerald Isle of the Caribbean’, the beautiful place measures a total of 102 square kilometers.
Approximately 12 miles long and 7 miles wide, the charm of the island have attracted famous figures of the music industry. Big personalities the likes of Sting, Sir George Martin and Eric Clapton even recorded their songs in this alluring piece of paradise.

Being among the Leeward Islands, climate in Montserrat is classified as subtropical. People can enjoy the Caribbean sun most of the year except during the months of July until November, since these months experience the most rainfall.
The average temperature is between 76° F to 88° F. While the island is generally safe, tourists are advised to stay in the safe zone because volcanoes in the island are active and the possibility of an eruption is a common thought.

The most common way to reach the island is through its neighbor Antigua, be it via air or sea. Traveling via air takes about 20 minutes.
Antigua offers either two to three trips to Montserrat daily. Tourists can book a flight in either through SVG or Fly Montserrat.
