Bonao is the capital of one of the Dominican Republic’s provinces, Monseñor Nouel. This city is situated at the heart of the country and is found in the northwestern part of the country capital, Santo Domingo.

Bonao approximately measures 664.37 square kilometers with an estimated population of around 75,000. The abundance of natural resources in the city is obvious as a nickel mine is found here.
