Location

Jocotenango and Pastores lie on Antigua’s northern edge, while the eastern tip is embraced by a place called San Antonio Aguas Calientes. On the colder side, the city’s annual low temperature is at 13.16-degree Celsius in December, January and February, which are the most frigid months. Rain showers are quite common in the city with June getting the highest amount of precipitation at 9.09 inches.

Transportation

Almost all types of transportation will come from Guatemala City, may it be via air, water or land. Antigua is easily reached through the capital city’s main transportation hub and traveling to and from will never be a hassle. If you wish to get into the heart of Antigua, the most convenient way is to hail or book bus services from the capital airport with an estimated travel time of around 45 minutes.
