The Dead Sea is located in the Judean Desert area in eastern Israel and this place is at 400 meters (1,320 feet) below sea level and considered as the lowest place on earth.

As the lowest place on earth it also has another benefit as the ultraviolet rays filter through the three natural layers extra atmospheric layers, an evaporation layer and the ozone layer.
Mainly the reason why they called it Dead Sea is because of the high level of salt and mineral that it contains is not suited for the fish to live in.
