Location
Locally called Il-Belt and listed as one of UNESCO’s heritage sites, Valletta is less than a square kilometer in size and is situated in the eastern part of Malta, an island found in central Mediterranean.
Climate
The city attributes Mediterranean climate so travelers should expect that the place is mostly dry almost all year round with the exception of the months of November to December which is considered as the place’s rainy season.
Transportation
From the Malta airport, Valletta can be reached via two options. Either via taxi which is just outside the arrival section or cheap bus that cost .50 Euros give or take.

St Johns Co Cathedral

A haven of Baroque art and architecture, the church can be considered more of a museum due to its intricate designs composed of paintings and carvings.
Just be reminded of some restrictions like being decently dressed (it’s a church in the first place), photos can be taken but camera’s flash should be turned off. Stilettos are also not allowed for it may create an impact on the marble flooring.
Grand Master’s Palace

Built in 1571 and adorned by military armors, the place now serves as the administrative headquarters of Malta.
Valletta Waterfront

Also known as Pinto Wharf and just below the fortified city, this strip houses shopping destinations and diner spots.
This is ideal who wants to see Valletta in its night time since bars and clubs aren’t in scarce in this side of the city
Casa Rocca Piccola

Get the feel of being in a maze. Casa Rocca Piccola used to be a war shelter back in World War II owned by the Piro family.
Aside from underground bomb shelters, this extravagant home owns a collection of Maltese furniture and highly decorated time pieces.
