If you’d want to try a more specified form of public transportation, look for the Ikarus and Mercedes buses (normally on yellow and blue stripes) and get your way around the city’s numerous attractions.
Getting in Pecs by air travel won’t be so much of a hassle as the recently opened Pecs-Pogany International Airport services domestic and international flights since 2006.

A small charter planes and private jets are also welcomed to land at this airport and you can also use this airport terminal to get into Burgas and Korfu which re both nearby.

If you want to experience Pecs’ complete vibe, and then get to Szechenyi Ter during summers as this is where everyone goes to relax and unwind.

Surrounded by sprawling baroque buildings, this is considered to be the city’s main square where locals are commonly seen walking, chatting and even doing some picnics.

Zsolnay Cultural Quarter

The brainchild of the 2010 Capital of Culture, the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter is a vast mass of land, which covers 4.5 hectares for recreation and outdoor activities.

Currently, this complex is subdivided into four fields (craftsman, family and children’s, creative and university) and is saturated with areas of interest such as picnic sites, stroll the paths and cafes.
