The climate in Maldives is known as tropical monsoon which is due to the heating disparity of the ground and water. Maldives has two seasons the dry season (northeast monsoon) starting from the month of January and continuing until April then the wet season (southwest monsoon) from May to November bringing torrential rainfalls and mostly cloudy mornings.

The average temperature in Maldives is about 30 degrees Celsius during the course of the year. So the perfect season to visit this place is through the dry season but if you want to snuggle and just be cozy it would also be nice to visit Maldives during this time.

This is the must see of the island during the night time where in the crystal clear waters transforms into a beautiful array of blue light. This island became famous because of the marine bioluminescent phytoplankton known as dinoflagellates.

The reason for this phenomenon was scientifically explained for the first time by the brilliant minds from Woodland Hastings of Harvard University they say that all this is due to the cell membrane of these planktons that responds to electrical signals producing this blue like light illumination.
