A Beautiful city of Nairobi, Kenya

The capital of Kenya is Nairobi City, it is also called “green city in the sun”. This is a perfect place to visit for those who want to discover and reveal developed cities of Africa.

Location

Nairobi is situated in between Kampala and Mombasa, the city capital is adjacent to the eastern edge of the valley it measures 5450 ft (1661 meters) above the sea level.

Climate

Unlike most African countries that are so hot, the weather in Nairobi is kind of cool because of its altitude.

And the temperature can go down to 10 degrees Celsius that’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit during the months of June and July but the hottest is between December and March with a 24 degrees Celsius ( 75degrees Fahrenheit) temperature.

There are different mode of transportation in Nairobi, you can choose from Matatus a shared minibus taxis, buses, trains and what they call boda bodas it is a motorbike, Tuk-tuks a three wheeled taxi and of course regular taxis.

Nairobi National Park, Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre, Ngong Hills, Hell’s Gate National Park, Uhuru Gardensand Nairobi Railway Museum are just some attractions in Nairobi. For wildlife enthusiast, this place has a lot to offer.

They have giraffe center and you will get to see the giraffes. They Nairobi orphanage, an orphanage where you can find wild animals, but they aren’t placed in their natural habitat as they are in closed caged.

This is called orphanage because most of the animals here are orphans. But if you’re planning to see them in their natural habitat might as well visit Nairobi national park.
