Used to be a place where public officials are being exiled, Hainan became more of a paradise than of a dungeon due to the serenity and peacefulness the place exudes in its lush greeneries, astounding mountain views and impressive coast lines.

Contrary to its intended purpose, the province became haven because of the nature’s beauty being exhibited in the said area.

Location

Hainan is an island found in the south most part of China. This is one of the largest measuring 34, 000 sq m next to Taiwan. The place is a complete treat for nature lovers because the beauty comprises beaches, forests and mountains.

The province is composed of six cities namely Haikou, Baoting, Bo’ao, Lingshui, Sanya, Wenchang and Wuzhishan. The island houses about 7 million population composed by some thirty seven ethnic minorities.

Climate

Unlike most parts of China, Hainan has been blessed by a beautiful tropical marine climate It is suggested for travelers to go and enjoy the beauty of the island during the months of November and April because this is the season that is most friendly when it comes to seeing the nature’s beauty residing in whole Hainan.

Rainy season occurs during Mat till October while tropical storms usually occur between June to September.

Transportation

Hainan is accessible via airplane via two airports found in Haikou and Sanya. It can also be reached by riding a train from either Guangzuo, Beijing or Shanghai.

Trains stop at either Dongfang, Haikou or Sanya.

Attractions

Sanya Yalong Bay

Considered as ‘first beach under heaven’, Yalong Bay is a destination where fine hotels are situated.

The place is a fusion of beautiful beaches and modern structures that will fit the taste of a contemporary jet setter.

Several attractions can also be found in the place such as Butterfly Valley, Seashell Museum and Totem Square.

Wugong Temple

Known as the first building in Hainan, this attraction was a temple dedicated to five officials who stood off against Tang Dynasty.

The ancestral spot is a peaceful architecture that includes beautiful garden and alley walks that boast ancient work of art.

Xinglong Topical Garden

Founded in 1957, the tropical botanical garden houses around 1, 200 kinds of plants.

The place has five functional sides that include plant viewing area, experiment are, development area, planting area and ecological leisure area.

End of the Earth

Locally called Tian Ya Hai Jiao, the cape’s scenic view is composed of beach with white sand, blue waters and beautiful hills.
