On the southwest of the city lies Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport. The airport serves to passengers who are going to and from Kuala Lumpur. Aside from that, this airport also offers international flight going to Singapore.
The city can also be reached via Terminal Sentral Kuantan that operates, to some of Malaysia’s key cities like Kuala Lumpur, Kota Bharu, Jon or Bharu, Melaka and Penang.

Attractions
Teluk Cempedak
This beach is accessible to both locals and tourists. Aside from the beautiful sand and blue waters, be prepared to fall in love with scattered rock formations that gives splashing sound whenever waves would move towards them. Activities like water sports and kite flying can be enjoyed by groups and families.

Berkelah Falls
This tourist spot is ideal especially for those who are into trekking. The trail going to the main waterfalls is kind of challenging due to the uphill in some parts and requires climbing on some areas.
The way going to the main falls is worth it because the view of the falls is splendid.

Chini Lake
Lake Chini is a cradle for different species of freshwater fishes. The lake is being adorned by beautiful White and water lilies, especially during the months of August and September.
The lake is made of 13 interconnected bodies of water, which is great for boat rides and fishing.
