Cabo San Lucas is a home for luxury and delight. It boasts grand sceneries and great unwinding spots in the morning while it lights up the night for a bustling nightlife.

With great celebrity sightings and crowded peak seasons, Cabo San Lucas is no doubt a popular place. But do you know it was once just a humble fishing village?

Perhaps no as the place has grown and developed it was hard to associate it with “small” and “humble.”

LOCATION

(2) Mexican Map

Cabo San Lucas or simply known as “Cabo” was once a remote fishing village located IN Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Lying at the very tip of Baja California Sue Peninsula, the place offers beautiful beaches among others.

Because of this, Cabo San Lucas rose in popularity and became one of the five major tourist spots of Mexico.

CLIMATE

The peak season happens over the course of December to April – the time when winter happens. The place is packed and the deals are expensive, so a two-month advance of hotel reservation is recommended when you’re planning to visit at this time.

May to June is considered the best time to travel, where the wintertime visitors are thinning and the tempests of summer are yet to hit.

TRANSPORTATION

The most recommended way of travelling to Cabo would be through flights, as driving through the Mexican highways and streets are confusing for those who are not familiar with the Spanish language and the place.

Los Cabos International Airports serve a variety of flights and includes a terminal for private jets. Once you landed at the airport, you can choose a taxi or a transfer van to get you to your hotel. If you are on a budget, then transfer vans are recommended, as taxi rates in Cabo are one of the highest in Mexico.

If you’re planning on more than a day trip, renting a car is possible. Again, just make sure you are familiar with the language and street.
