The Cape Floral Kingdom, smallest yet richest in the world is one of the best places-to-go to relieve your stress.
There’s the pristine white beaches lapped by, their curves defined by giant granite boulders to bake on, and burbling mountain streams in dappled forests.
The constant source of amazement here is the proximity of nature.

Location
It is located on the coast of South Africa, jut near the bottom of the African continent.
It is the second-most populated city in South Africa after Johannesburg, and the provincial capital of the Western Cape.

Climate
Cape Town has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate with mild, moderately wet winters and dry, warm summers. Winter, starts from the beginning of June until the end of August.
Summer, which starts from early December until March, is warm and dry with an average maximum of 26.0 °C (79 °F) and a minimum of 16.0 °C (61 °F).
Late spring and early summer may sometimes feature a strong wind from the southeast, which is known locally as the Cape Doctor because it blows air pollution away.
This wind is caused by a high-pressure system which sits in the South Atlantic to the west of Cape Town, known as the South Atlantic High.

Transportation
By Train – Best recommended to go to the suburbs. Adderley Street is the main railway station.
Trains run overground, and there are no signposts on the streets, meaning, you should have a map to look at or ask around to find the stations. Tickets must be bought in advance at the station
By Taxis – Though taxis cannot enter the suburbs, taxis are also one of the public transportation in Cape Town. Taxis range from metered, minibus or Rikkis (small, open-sided, three-wheel vehicles).
You can’t hail a metered taxi on the street. You can get one at the taxi ranks around town, or you can phone to be picked up. There are a number of reliable companies, including Unicab, Marine Taxi Hire and Sea Point Taxis.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Simon’s Town
This place is ideal for kids because of the penguins. But please, always take care.
