Transportation

Traveling via any method of transportation won’t be much of a hassle when visiting Jaipur. Known to be the headquarters of the North Western Zone of Indian Railways, the Jaipur Railway Station can pretty much transport travelers and locals in nearby and equally huge cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chenai, Alwar and Bengaluru.
And just recently, Jaipur opened the Jaipur Metro, which also connects the city into other places of interest in the whole of India. Bus lines are being supervised and operated by the Jaipur Bus Rapid Transit Service, a government backed outfit, to fix the tremendous traffic situation observed in the metropolis every day.
Bus depots and terminals are known to be at Vaishali Nagar, Vidyadhar Nagar and Sanganer.
Located 10 kilometers from the city center, the Jaipur International Airport is catering to humongous domestic and international flights and is always of service every day.
Some of the destinations that can be reached through air travel from and to Jaipur include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat and Sharjah.
